Procedure of Mixing for Hand Mix Concrete

Addition Rate:

Depending upon the type of the structure, required quantity of the Silica Cement Admixture is calculated on a given ratio of concrete mix by weight of the cement.

Steps:

• In the concrete mixture fine aggregate (sand ) and Silica Cement Admixture is dry mix.

• Cement is added on the dry mix.

• Aggregate is added on the dry mix.

• Required amount of water is added.

• Freshly mix concrete is transported using wheel barrow.

Example:

If we are making concrete on 1:2:4 ratio for beam or column then for 1 bag (50 kg) of cement 2 box of sand and 4 box of aggregate are needed then we use 2.5 kg of Silica Cement Admixture (5% by weight of cement).
